GOOD: Community Workshop
Building Community Together
Description
Charities and nonprofits are ever on the look- out for community partners to support their work. If you’re looking for new ways to work more strategically with small and medium sized businesses, join us for an interactive workshop and celebration luncheon. In the morning you’ll hear the results from a pioneering research study on the state of small and medium sized business community involvement in Calgary and you’ll participate in an interactive workshop with David Grayson, a renowned corporate social opportunity expert from the U.K.
Utilizing local research, local case studies and his international expertise and experience, David will discuss the motivations for community involvement of small business, how community organizations can become ‘small business ready’ and how to develop and sustain win-win relationships with small business partners.
