Mayoral Candidates Talk Sustainability
Friday, September 17, 2010 at 12:41AM POLITICS • A group of organizations focused on developing resilient communities is hosting an evening with mayoral candidates designed to foster sustainable politics Sept. 22 at the Central branch of the Calgary Public Library.
From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Make it Good, Calgary Public Library, REAP Business Association and other community partners are hosting “My vote could have changed that.” Guest speaker Michael Shermer will begin the night with a talk about how people think and the way they make decisions. He will show how the brain fools itself and how it gets fooled by others.
