My Vote Can

It's pretty simple. We believe democratic governments are the best way to meet the needs of complex societies. We also believe that they are under threat as a result of disengaged and uninformed citizens. If political systems lose their resiliency, the delicate weave of civilization comes under serious stress and any other discussions around the sustainability of social justice, economies, energy, education, health, and the environment become nearly moot. It is the primary issue.

We believe people need to become better citizens and voters. In particular, thinking more carefully about who they are electing. Less emphasis on specific issues. More emphasis on ideas. Even more emphasis on the thinking and character of candidates and their parties.

We want you to join this movement. Everyone can participate by changing their own thinking and challenging the thinking of others. We will run events and help you run events that are focused on this approach. We want to spread the conversation. Change the conversation.
