Partnerships

Make it Good defines partnership as a mutually beneficial alliance created between Make it Good and external organizations committed to balancing their environmental, economic, and cultural sustainability with those of our city.

The purpose of Make it Good's partnerships are to create a formalized peer-dialogue and referral structure, comprised of Make it Good accredited partners, whereby challenges, solutions and ideation can be proposed and discussed.

Here is a list of some of our current partners.  This list grows bigger every day!

In March 2008 the Haskayne School of Business agreed to provide Make it Good with office space and infrastructure. In October 2008, the Haskayne School of Business went one step further and signed an MOU agreeing to become the fiscal agent for the initiative. Having a home and the fiscal support of the Haskayne School of Business has been invaluable to Make it Good’s ability to develop its vision and mission, grow its network, engage and collaborate with students and academics and complete its day-to-day operations.

The Centre for Inquiry - Calgary  is an organization that fosters a secular society based on science, reason, freedom of inquiry and humanist values. They strive to create awareness of these values and raise concerns about the absence of them. Perfectly aligned with Make it Good's dogma that critical thinking is key to achieving sustainability; the Centre is a wonderful addition to our partnership family.

You will see many of these organization profiled in our Change the World by 5:15 Stories.

As an organization that's mission is to enrich lives and build communities by ensuring universal access to resources for information, learning, inspiration, and enjoyment.  Our partnership began when we joined forces to bring Calgarians a different kind of mayoral forum.  "My vote could have changed that" is exactly the type of dialogue the Library supports.
