Think Tank
Imagine a group of approximately 30 people from diverse yet intellectually rigorous backgrounds such as a doctoral student, a civic planner, a GM, a professional artist, an engineer, etc. . . individuals from varied industries and disciplines that range from juniors with high potential to senior, executive leaders. The vision of the Think Tank is to engage different minds from different sectors to collectively ponder big questions that challenge today’s government and business leaders. The mission of the think tank will be to converge multiple and divergent perspectives on challenging topics with the goal of posing new ideas that stimulate thought and challenge the status quo.
This initiative is:
- Entrepreneurially oriented with a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking;
- Composed of proven agents of change, thought leaders in their fields, and exemplars of intellectual rigor;
- Interdisciplinary and representative of multiple organizational levels.
Goals:
- Encourages sustained collaboration between community change agents;
- Provides an alternative platform for sustainable solutions;
- Radical thinking can lead to radical actions;
- A white paper will be produced to record the outcomes and actions of the summit.
